The green apple martini is so popular, why not make them at home? Ours has just the right amount of sweetness, a touch of sourness for balance, and lots of apple flavor!!
This week I decided to try Nigella Lawson Green Apple Martini. I have a soft spot for most martinis. These days though, where I live, they generally run at least 15 bucks. That irritates me. For heaven’s sake! It’s not like they’re difficult to make. So, that’s just what I did this week.
I had some good friends from out of town and I decided to try this new martini out on them. We all agreed that these were Fabulous Green Apple Martinis. Not too sweet and very apple-y. Yum. Perfect 🙂
I hope you’ll try our pear martini and pumpkin pie martini, next!
It’s cocktail time!
Apple Martini Ingredients
- Sugar: Granulated sugar
- Vodka: Use your favorite vodka. Remember though, with all the other flavors in this martini, you won’t notice the nuances of higher-end vodkas.
- Sour Apple Liqueur: This ingredient is essential and gives the cocktail its fabulous color. It has a sweet and sour apple flavor.
- Granny Smith Apple Syrup: This is a nonalcoholic mixture that really brings the flavor!
Let’s mix these UP!!

$15! That is a good reason to invite some friends over and make any type of martini! Ooh, that actually really chaps my hide. I was a bartender and bar manager, and I can't even think of a higher end vodka that warrants that price-somebody's rent better be sky high or something…
Oh, and I'm trying to get a good picture of a drink right now, and it just isn't working! Yours is beautiful.
