60" Acrylic Slipper Clawfoot Tub

"The Ambassador" 60 inch slipper clawfoot tub squeezes old fashioned charm into a wonderfully compact tub, ideal for retro fit bathroom renovations.

Most "built-in" tubs from the 1950's to present were 60" tubs or smaller; this model makes for a stylish upgrade (check your bathroom dimensions for compatibility).

The gradual slope of the slipper tub makes this type of tub more comfortable than other lower rim tubs (such as a rolled rim) due to increased back support. It also has the ability to mount the faucet to the rim of the tub (holes are 7" on center), to the wall of the tub (holes 3 3/8 on center) or have no faucet holes at all (see schematic).

This compact bathtub is formed from a single sheet of acrylic which is then reinforced by layering fiberglass cloth and resin in the core. The underside of the tub has 2 steel rods which add additional strength to stiffen the floor. This tub is rock solid, despite the light weight materials being used, especially compared to other low cost models.
