1994 BMW 5 Series Navigation
The 1994 BMW 5 Series was available as the 525i sedan and Touring, 530i sedan and touring, and the 540i sedan. The 535i six-cylinder was replaced by the 530i V8 engine sedan. The engine featured dual overhead cam, 32 valve technology which was smaller than the engine it replaced but offered more horsepower and better fuel economy. The 525i was powered by a 152 cubic-inch six-cylinder engine offering nearly 190 horsepower. The 530 had a 183 CID six-cylinder engine offering 215 horsepower. The 540i had a 243 CID V8 engine with 282 BHP. Adaptive Transmission Control allowed drivers to select a series of programs.
