JP Enterprises has provided design services to Galls since 2000. Typically, Galls’ in-house catalog department handles the bulk of production, calling on JP for design assistance with covers, specialty pages, and new products sections. 

 

The relationship moved to a new level in 2010, when Galls asked JP to create an entire 484-page catalog for the military/federal government market from scratch. Galls’ in-house catalog department was tied up with their regular police, fire, EMS, and public safety catalogs, and they lacked the manpower to add this new project to their workload in the timeframe in which it had to be completed.

 

Working within a very compressed production schedule, JP coordinated raw data from more than 500 different suppliers, sourced and edited images, built product modules for nearly 6,000 items, and organized the book in a coherent format that affords users easy navigation and a simple ordering process.
