This book is a great addition to our extensive LEGO collection. The model included is a great bonus, but the real value lies in the many ideas offered that make use of the bricks we've collected from the Friends line. It has helped us to expand our LEGO world using sets we already have. The 8 year old aspiring Master Builder is especially fond of the "builder vocabulary" section.

The jumps
The girls have made a creative course for their horse show. There are four different jumps that will test out their horses' agility. These jumps will be a challenge.
The waterfall
The fast-flowing waters of this waterfall run over a sheer drop at the top of tall rocks. The water splashes down into a bubbling pool below, where Bubbles the turtle is taking a cool dip.
Party food and drinks
Ordinary bricks can be used in many different ways. If you don't have ready-made bread pieces, make some yourself using jumper plates in shades of bread. A cheese slice is one yellow tile, and a water bottle is made from a round brick, cone, and round plate lid.

Only includes legos to build the car. Book ideas required pieces not included
Very disappointed with this. It only includes the pieces to build the car. The photos of everything else, such as the ice cream cart, bridge, and horse jumping bars can’t be built with this set. The book has a bunch of ideas but so much of it would require unique parts/colors that I’m guessing not many people have.While the cover does say it includes the car, I feel like it implies you can build many of the other pictured items with the parts included. I was a bit suspicious before buying but decided to take a chance anyways. Not sure the car is that special to buy it for that. I will say there are a lot of nice ideas in the book, that could inspire, but you’ll have to look elsewhere to find the right bricks.
