Tuesday 15 March 2016 (presumably): 71 of 84 delegates to the Democratic National Convention are pledged to presidential contenders based on the results of the voting in today's Missouri Presidential Primary. A mandatory 15 percent threshold is required in order for a presidential contender to be allocated National Convention delegates at either the congressional district or statewide level. Saturday 18 June 2016 (presumably): State Convention in Columbia.

National Convention At-Large Delegates are elected according to the results of the Primary.

The remaining 13 National Convention delegates consist of

These 13 delegates and will go to the Democratic National Convention officially "Unpledged".

4 June 2014: Governor Jay Nixon signed SB 892. The law moves the state's Presidential Primary from the 1st Tuesday after the 1st Monday in February to the 2nd Tuesday after the 1st Monday in March. The Missouri House passed HB 1902 on 13 March 2014. The Missouri Senate passed SB 892 on 10 April 2014.
