Antec 900 Advanced Gaming Case |

The Antec 900's upper area is well thought out for very easy access to the gamer, supplying you with an interface area where you don't have to bend at the waist very far to gain access to the power switch, USB and Firewire ports.
The case has nine drive bays and six of those have a pair of blue LED 120 mm. fans fronting them. The bays where the 120 mm. fans are at are actually modular devices or "combo" drives bays each holding three - 3.5" drives, while the other three openings can be filled with your choice of optical drives.
Moving along, we remove the two "combo" drives from the front of the case and set those aside. Each "combo" drive can house either 3 optical drive units, or 3 hard drives within them or any combination up to 3 drives each. They are configured in this manner so as to "house" the 120 mm fan in the front of each one. This fan is what would keep anything installed within the combo drive bay very cool as it would have a constant stream of air flowing over them.
The view above shows the Antec 900 case with the two "combo" drive bays removed (below). You can see the large 120 mm fan located just behind the vented front face. Both of these fans are blue LED fans and glow right through when turned on (see 1st image on sheet 2 of this review).
As we turn the "combo" drive bays around, you can see the plugs, connectors and the 3 position fan speed switches for each one. One of the drive bay units has a black plastic cover so that you can attach another fan or remote cooling unit like one of the drive bay watercooling solutions onto it.
