Something about this beautiful jacket seems just right to pair with the dusting of snow over Minneapolis today. ❄️

Farmington, written by Clarence Darrow, the great American trial attorney, is a fictionalized account of Darrow’s childhood in Ohio. Darrow believed this was his best written work, but it never attained critical or commercial success. The first cover pictured is the 1932 edition (and it you’re wondering, the cover depicts the Kinsman Presbyterian Church of Kinsman, OH at its center). Below, you can compare it to a first edition copy from 1904.

We adopted Frederick, formerly Sky, from Animal Humane Society in November of 2024 at 5-months-old and surprised our daughter with the puppy she has been begging for! Freddy is such an amazing companion, a HUGE mama’s boy, and we love watching him learn about the world! He has brought so much laughter into our lives and can’t imagine life without him!
