Before heading to the 3 day retreat I managed to load a "panel" onto Teena.

I will use a ruler to create the quilting design.

This will eventually be donated as another Community quilt.

FIRST project...

Adding the last column to the flower basket flimsy, I then cut the borders.

It's almost ready to be quilted... yeah

SECOND project...

Stitching around all the applique pieces on this "balloon" flimsy.

Lots of thread changing for this one... 🧵

THIRD project...

Joining 151/2 inch QAYG blocks together (24 in total), then the 6 rows together. 

I used black dotty fabric on the front while using green dotty on the back.

I think this will be a raffle quilt.

 I started off by making 4 x "triple" scissor keepers...

Then I loaded a flimsy onto Teena. 

This will be donated as another Community quilt.

I'm sure this "farmyard" quilt will bring a smile to a little persons face.

I also finished 2 (10 inch x 8 inch) zipper pouches that were made from scraps.

I added a leather "handmade" tag & a zip pull cord. 

These, along with the scissor keeps, will be on our Guild "sale" table in May.

I added the label & binding to the "flower" community quilt.

as the RSC 2025 colour for February is BLUE... 

I used my scraps to make several 9 patch blocks.

Three community quilt tops were loaded onto Teena over the weekend.

Waves were quilted on this "ocean" one...

With a simple meander on the next one...

Then a meander with an arrow added in the corners on this FLoWeR quilt.

January finishes total... a whopping 26

I'm VeRY HaPPy with my effort this month... 😁

DD#1 asked me to make small circular pouches for the Netball team she coaches.

These junior players can put their earrings/rings inside to keep them safe.

I used the production line method as I sewed in ALL 15  zips... 

then I stitched the pouches... & once they're were ALL made, I overlocked the inside to tidy the lining. 

I added small hooks so the pouches can attach to the girls bags... 

& DD#1 will add individual names to the back.

Then...

I loaded & quilted another small community flimsy on Teena.

I've had this fabric in my stash for ages & thought it time it was used.

A small child will be able to snuggle under it & smile I hope.

Don't know if it was a good idea or not... but I wanted to try it...
