LOCKSS

LOCKSS is an acronym for Lots Of Copies Keeps Stuff Safe, a project and collection of networks for libraries to keep copies of stuff on the web, but often used as a generic mnemonic for the technique of keeping and encouraging many copies of things as a way of improving their longevity.
