also i cant find the van damme movie -No Where To Run- It has a great opening scene with a red trans am hi jacking a prison bus, and later Van damme has to push it into a pond, sad but cool to see |

The light aircraft that lands in the street is a Maule M 5-235 Lunar Rocket. Note how the stunt pilot has a measure of up elevator to prevent the machine tipping onto its nose as he 'drives' down the road with the brakes partially applied !! (nose down, tail up in the air). I think its cool the way they land in the street, then casually go and pick up a pack of beers in the shop, then take off again!!! |

If you watch the movie closely the Police Trans Am's are in a couple of the different chase sceens besides the opening. For example when the Rolls gets pulled over in CA there is a black & white Trans Am police car in back and when he throws ticket out the window you get a good shot of the TA -- Last edit: 2013-10-18 06:38:39 |
