Welcome on the Mepa website

MEPA (Multiple Episode Protocol Analysis) is a flexible program for the annotation of, coding of verbal or nonverbal observational data or protocols. This program makes it possible to develop a system for coding  observational data, while the same program can be used to analyze the coded verbal or non-verbal protocols with a variety of quantitative or qualitative methods.

MEPA is developed by Gijsbert Erkens of the Department of Educational Sciences at the University of Utrecht. On the basis of experience, demands and wishes in several research projects the program is being further developed and elaborated (latest version: MEPA 4.8). MEPA runs in a MS Windows environment.
