Abstract: This research aims to verify the impact of technological eco-innovation capacity on innovation performance, from most innovative firms of different sectors: Biotechnology; chemicals & cosmetics; manufacturing & medical sectors, in the USA. This research was based on the model presented by Müller et al. (2005). Following it, a multiple case study was conducted in most innovative companies. The research had specialists’ intervention. The data were extracted by a judging matrix with a scale type. This paper contributes to the discussion on influence of eco-innovation capacity and its impact on innovation performance. Furthermore, the results can help policy-makers improve the support for eco-innovations in innovative companies in the USA.
