Abstract: This paper investigates the nexus between infrastructure development and economic complexity (EC) for 27 African countries over 2003-2016 period. Employing Ordinary Least Squares, Generalised Method of Moments and Quantile Regressions, empirical findings show that infrastructure development fosters EC in African countries especially transport and electricity infrastructures.
