On local quantum field theory without ultra-violet divergences. Third order

Summary

It was shown (1,2) in the nonlinear local quantum theory of the scalar one-component field that the difficulties of the local theory associated with the presence of the ultra-violet divergences can be removed in second-order perturbation theory by the introduction of an interaction Lagrangian satisfying certain requirements. In the present paper the third order of perturbation theory is investigated and it is shown that no new restrictions appear on the interaction Lagrangian. Unitarity is fulfilled for the Green’s function in this order.

Si è dimostrato nella teoria quantistica locale non lineare del campo scalare ad una componente, che le difficoltà della teoria locale associate alla presenza di divergenze ultraviolette possono essere eliminate nella teoria delle perturbazioni di secondo ordine con l’introduzione di un lagrangiano d’interazione che soddisfa alcune condizioni. In questo articolo si studia il terzo ordine della teoria delle perturbazioni e si dimostra che non compaiono nuove restrizioni al lagrangiano di interazione. In questo ordine l’unitarietà è rispettata per le funzioni di Green.
