Transverse Momentum Resummation for $Z$ boson Plus Jet Production at the LHC / Sun, Peng (Nanjing Normal U.) ; Yan, Bin (Los Alamos Natl. Lab., Theor. Div. ; Michigan State U.) ; Yan, C P (Michigan State U.) ; Yuan, Feng (LBNL, NSD)
We study the transverse momentum resummation effects for the Z boson plus jet associated production at the LHC within the transverse momentum dependent (TMD) factorization formalism. The large logarithm ln ($Q_2/q_⊥^2$) with $Q ≫ q_⊥$ has been resumed to Next-to-Leading Logarithm (NLL) accuracy. [...]

Drell-Yan transverse spectra at the LHC: a comparison of parton branching and analytical resummation approaches / van Kampen, Aron Mees (Antwerp U.)
I report on precision comparisons of theoretical predictions for Drell-Yan (DY) transverse momentum spectra from two approaches: the analytical resummation approach based on Collins-Soper-Sterman (CSS) formalism and the parton branching (PB) approach to the evolution of transverse momentum dependent (TMD) parton distributions..

NLL+NNLO predictions for jet-veto efficiencies in Higgs-boson and Drell-Yan production / Banfi, Andrea (Freiburg U.) ; Salam, Gavin P (CERN ; Princeton U. ; UPMC, Paris (main)) ; Zanderighi, Giulia (Oxford U., Theor. Phys.)
Using the technology of the CAESAR approach to resummation, we examine the jet-veto efficiency in Higgs-boson and Drell-Yan production at hadron colliders and show that at next-to-leading logarithmic (NLL) accuracy the resummation reduces to just a Sudakov form factor. Matching with NNLO calculations results in stable predictions for the case of Drell-Yan production, but reveals substantial uncertainties in gluon-fusion Higgs production, connected in part with the poor behaviour of the perturbative series for the total cross section. The Parton Branching Sudakov and its relation to CSS / Martinez, A Bermudez (CERN) ; Hautmann, F (CERN ; Antwerp U. ; Oxford U.) ; Keersmaekers, L (Antwerp U.) ; Lelek, A (Antwerp U.) ; Mendizabal Morentin, M (DESY, Zeuthen) ; Monfared, S Taheri (DESY, Zeuthen) ; van Kampen, A M (Antwerp U.)
The Transverse Momentum Dependent (TMD) Parton Branching (PB) method is a Monte Carlo (MC) approach to obtain QCD high energy collider predictions grounded in ideas originating from the TMD factorization. It provides an evolution equation for the TMD parton distribution functions (TMDs) and a framework to use those within TMD MC generators. This work focuses on the structure of the PB Sudakov form factor. Transverse-momentum resummation for slepton-pair production at the CERN large hadron collider / Bozzi, G ; Fuks, B ; Klasen, M
We perform a first precision calculation of the transverse-momentum (q_T) distribution of slepton pair and slepton-sneutrino associated production at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC). We implement soft-gluon resummation at the next-to-leading logarithmic (NLL) level and consistently match the obtained result to the pure fixed-order perturbative result at leading order (LO) in the QCD coupling constant, i.e. [...]

TMDs and Monte Carlo Event Generators / Hautmann, F. (Oxford U. ; Antwerp U. ; Basque U., Bilbao ; CERN)
We discuss prospects for Monte Carlo event generators incorporating the dynamics of transverse momentum dependent (TMD) parton distribution functions. We illustrate TMD evolution in the parton branching formalism, and present Monte Carlo applications of the method..

PDF bias and flavor dependence in TMD distributions / Bury, Marcin (Unlisted, PL) ; Hautmann, Francesco (Antwerp U. ; Oxford U. ; CERN) ; Leal-Gomez, Sergio (Vienna U.) ; Scimemi, Ignazio (Madrid U.) ; Vladimirov, Alexey (Regensburg U. ; Madrid U.) ; Zurita, Pia (Regensburg U.)
Transverse momentum dependent (TMD) distributions match collinear parton density functions (PDF) in the limit of small transverse distances, which is accounted for by global extractions of TMD distributions. We study the influence of the collinear PDF value and uncertainties on the determination of unpolarized TMD distributions and the description of Drell-Yan (DY) and Z-boson production measurements at low transverse momenta. The Parton Branching (PB) method describes the evolution of transverse momentum dependent (TMD) parton distributions, covering all kinematic regions from small to large transverse momenta kT. The small kT-region is very sensitive both to the contribution of the intrinsic motion of partons (intrinsic kT) and to the resummation of soft gluons taken into account by the PB TMD evolution equations. Next-to-leading-logarithmic PanScales showers for Deep Inelastic Scattering and Vector Boson Fusion / van Beekveld, Melissa (Oxford U., Theor. Phys.) ; Ferrario Ravasio, Silvia (CERN)
We introduce the first family of parton showers that achieve next-to-leading logarithmic (NLL) accuracy for processes involving a $t$-channel exchange of a colour-singlet, and embed them in the PanScales framework. These showers are applicable to processes such as deep inelastic scattering (DIS), vector boson fusion (VBF), and vector boson scattering (VBS). [...]

Flavor dependent $b$-profiles from Drell-Yan spectra at low transverse momenta / Bury, M. (Unlisted, PL) ; Hautmann, F. (CERN ; Antwerp U. ; Oxford U. ; U. Antwerp (main) ; U. Oxford (main)) ; Leal-Gomez, S. (Vienna U.) ; Scimemi, I. (Madrid U.) ; Vladimirov, A. (Madrid U. ; Regensburg U.) ; Zurita, P. (Regensburg U.)
We discuss our recent study of the impact of collinear PDFs and their uncertainties on the determination of transverse momentum dependent (TMD) distributions and the description of Drell-Yan (DY) production measurements at low transverse momenta. Using QCD factorization and evolution in transverse coordinate b space, this study takes into account for the first time flavor-dependent non-perturbative b-profiles. [...]
