Flavour anomalies in $b\to sl^{+}l^{-}$ and $b\to cl\nu_{l}$ transitions / Florian Reiss /ATLAS and CMS Collaborations
Flavour anomalies observed in $b\to sl^{+}l^{-}$ and $b\to cl\nu_{l}$ transitions show tantalising tensions with the predictions of the Standard Model. Anomalies in absolute and relative branching fractions and angular observables measured by the LHCb, CMS and ATLAS collaborations are reviewed. [...]

Angular analyses of $b\to s \ell \ell$ modes at LHCb / Smith, Eluned (RWTH Aachen U.) /LHCb
The study of rare decays mediated via $b\to s ll$ transitions allows for new physics searches which are sensitive to mass scales up to $\mathcal{O}$(100) TeV. Sensitivity to new physics can be increased via angular analyses, as angles involve ratios of observables, causing angular coefficents to have reduced theoretical uncertainties [...]

B-flavour anomalies in $b\rightarrow sll$ and $b\rightarrow cl\nu_l$ transitions at LHCb / Gioventu, Alessandra (Santiago de Compostela U.) /LHCb
In the Standard Model (SM) of particle physics, the muon and the tau particles are simply heavier copies of the electron, coupling with gauge bosons independently of their generation. This property is called Lepton Flavour Universality (LFU). [...]

New Physics Searches with $b\to s\ell^+\ell^-$ Transitions and Rare Decays at LHCb / De Bruyn, Kristof Antoon M ((CPPM, Aix-Marseille Universite, CNRS/IN2P3, Marseille, France))
Several tensions between the experimental measurements and their Standard Model predictions have been observed in rare $B$ meson decays mediated by $b\to s\ell^+\ell^-$ transitions. To understand the nature of these discrepancies, the LHCb experiment is extending its previously reported studies with additional observables and decay modes. [...]

Flavour anomalies in rare decays at LHCb / Capriotti, Lorenzo (Bologna U. ; INFN, Bologna) /LHCb Collaboration
Rare decays are powerful probes for Physics beyond the Standard Model (SM), as new particles can have a large impact on physics observables. Recent results on lepton universality tests and measurements of branching fractions and angular distributions of rare $b\to sll$ decays have shown tensions with the SM predictions. [...]

New Physics in $B$ decays / Crivellin, Andreas (CERN)
While the LHC did not observe direct evidence for physics beyond the standard model, indirect hints for new physics were uncovered in the flavour sector in the decays $B\to K^*\mu^+\mu^-$, $B\to K\mu^+\mu^-/B\to Ke^+e^-$, $B_s\to\phi\mu^+\mu^-$, $B\to D^{(*)}\tau\nu$ and $h\to\tau^\pm\mu^\mp$. Each observable deviates from the SM predictions at the $2-3\,\sigma$ level only, but combining all $b\to s\mu^+\mu^-$ data via a global fit, one finds $4-5\,\sigma$ difference for NP compared to the SM and combining $B\to D^{*}\tau\nu$ with $B\to D\tau\nu$ one obtains $3.9\,\sigma$. $B$ Decays and Lepton Flavour (Universality) Violation / Crivellin, Andreas (CERN)
LHCb found hints for physics beyond the standard model in $B\to K^*\mu^+\mu^-$, $B\to K^*\mu^+\mu^-/B\to K^*e^+e^-$ and $B_s\to\phi\mu^+\mu^-$. In addition, the BABAR results for $B\to D^{(*)}\tau\nu$ and the CMS excess in $h\to\tau^\pm\mu^\mp$ also point towards lepton flavour (universality) violating new physics. [...]
