Development of Collimation Simulations for the FCC-ee / Abramov, Andrey (CERN) ; Bruce, Roderik (CERN) ; Carlier, Felix (Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne) ; Hofer, Michael (CERN) ; Iadarola, Giovanni (CERN) ; Nevay, Laurence (JAI, UK) ; Pieloni, Tatiana (Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne) ; Rakic, Milica (Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne) ; Redaelli, Stefano (CERN) ; White, Simon (ESRF, Grenoble)
A collimation system is under study for the FCC-ee to protect the machine from the multi-MJ electron and positron beams and limit the backgrounds to the detectors. One of the key aspects of the collimation system design is the setup of simulation studies combining particle tracking and scattering in the collimators. [...]

Machine Induced Backgrounds in the FCC-ee MDI Region and Beamstrahlung Radiation / Ciarma, Andrea (CERN) ; Boscolo, Manuela (Frascati) ; Ganis, Gerardo (CERN) ; Perez, Emmanuelle (CERN)
The new design for the central chamber of the FCC-ee beam pipe has a reduced radius of R=10mm and length of L=18cm, allowing to have the inner layer of the Vertex Detector Barrel closer to the interaction point. The effect of the background induced occupancy due to Incoherent Pairs Creation (IPC), beam losses in the MDI area and Synchrotron Radiation are explored for the CLD detector, using the updated version of the Vertex Detector for the new central beam pipe. First studies on error mitigation by interaction point fast feedback systems for FCC-ee / Salvesen, John (CERN ; JAI, UK) ; Zimmermann, Frank (CERN) ; Burrows, Philip (JAI, UK)
During operation, the Future Circular electron-positron Collider (FCC-ee) will be subject to vibrations from mechanical sources and ground motion, resulting in errors with respect to the closed orbit. To achieve physics performance, luminosity and beam lifetime must be kept to design specifications. [...]

IR challenges and the machine detector interface at FCC-ee / Boscolo, Manuela (CERN ; Frascati) ; Burkhardt, Helmut (CERN) ; Oide, Katsunobu (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Sullivan, Michael K (SLAC)
The FCC-ee, with its unprecedented luminosity goal and high energy reach, creates challenges and requires solutions to many issues in order to produce a realistic design for the complex machine detector interface. The interaction region design for the FCC-ee adopts the crab-waist collision scheme and proposes an elegant local chromaticity correction system [...]
