(INFN, Bologna) ; Ashikhmin, V.V. (Moscow, INR) ; Badino, G. (INFN, Turin ; Turin U.) ; Bari, G. (INFN, Turin) ; Bertoni, R. ; Bressan, E. (Gran Sasso) ; Bruno, G. (Moscow, INR) ; Dadykin, V.L. (Moscow, INR) et al. /LVD
The Large Volume Detector (LVD) has been continuously taking data since 1992 at the INFN Gran Sasso National Laboratory. LVD is sensitive to neutrino bursts from gravitational stellar collapses with full detection probability over the Galaxy. [...]

Measurement of muon charge ratio with the Large Volume Detector / LVD Collaboration
The value of ${\mu^+/\mu^-}$ ratio for atmospheric muons has been measured with the Large Volume Detector, (LVD) at the INFN Gran Sasso National Laboratory, Italy (minimal depth is 3000 m w.e.). [...]

Measurement of the velocity of neutrinos from the CNGS beam with the Large Volume Detector / LVD Collaboration
We report the measurement of the time-of-flight of ~17 GeV muon neutrinos on the CNGS baseline (732 km) with the Large Volume Detector (LVD) at the Gran Sasso Laboratory. The CERN-SPS accelerator has been operated from May 10th to May 24th 2012, with a tightly bunched-beam structure to allow the velocity of neutrinos to be accurately measured on an event-by-event basis. [...]

First CNGS events detected by LVD / LVD Collaboration
The CERN Neutrino to Gran Sasso (CNGS) project aims to produce a high energy, wide band $\nu_{\mu}$ beam at CERN and send it toward the INFN Gran Sasso National Laboratory (LNGS), 732 km away. Its main goal is the observation of the $\nu_{\tau}$ appearance, through neutrino flavour oscillation. [...]

Rare Particle Searches with the high altitude SLIM experiment / Balestra, S ; Cecchini, S ; Fabbri, F ; Giacomelli, G ; Giacomelli, R ; Giorgini, M ; Kumar, A ; Manzoor, S ; McDonald, J ; Margiotta, A et al.
The search for rare particles in the cosmic radiation remains one of the main aims of non-accelerator particle astrophysics. Experiments at high altitude allow lower mass thresholds with respect to detectors at sea level or underground. [...]

The cosmic ray proton, helium and CNO fluxes in the 100 TeV energy region from TeV muons and EAS atmospheric Cherenkov light observations of MACRO and EAS-TOP / Aglietta, M ; Alessandro, B ; Ambrosio, M ; Antolini, R ; Antonioli, P ; Arneodo, F ; Baldini, A ; Barbarino, G C ; Barish, B C ; Battistoni, G et al.
The primary cosmic ray (CR) proton, helium and CNO fluxes in the energy range 80-300 TeV are studied at the National Gran Sasso Laboratories by means of EAS-TOP (Campo Imperatore, 2005 m a.s.l.) and MACRO (deep underground, 3100 m w.e., the surface energy threshold for a muon reaching the detector being E/sub mu //sup th/ approximately=1.3 TeV). The measurement is based on: (a) the selection of primaries based on their energy/nucleon (i.e., with energy/nucleon sufficient to produce a muon with energy larger than 1.3 TeV) and the reconstruction of the shower geometry by means of the muons recorded by MACRO in the deep underground laboratories; (b) the detection of the associated atmospheric Cherenkov light (C.l.) signals by means of the C.l. The cosmic ray primary composition in the energy range between 10/sup 15/ and 10/sup 16/ eV, i.e., around the "knee" of the primary spectrum, has been studied through the combined measurements of the EAS-TOP air shower array (2005 m a.s.l., 10/sup 5/ m/sup 2/ collecting area) and the MACRO underground detector (963 m a.s.l., 3100 m w.e. of minimum rock overburden, 920 m/sup 2/ effective area) at the National Gran Sasso Laboratories.
