With a circumference of approximately 91 km, the Future Circular electron-positron Collider, FCC-ee, aims for unprecedented luminosities at beam energies from 45.6 to 182.5 GeV. A major challenge is reaching its design performance in the presence of magnet misalignments and field errors. [...]

Selected advances in the accelerator design of the Future Circular Electron-Positron Collider (FCC-ee) / FCC Collaboration
In autumn 2023, the FCC Feasibility Study underwent a crucial “mid-term review”. We describe some accelerator performance risks for the proposed future circular electron-positron collider, FCC-ee, identified for, and during, the mid-term review. [...]

FCC-ee is a proposed lepton collider with a circumference close to 100 km to produce an unprecedented amount of luminosity. The FCC-ee optics tuning working group is addressing one of the most critical aspects of the FCC-ee, that is the recovery of the optics design performance in presence of realistic imperfections. [...]

First considerations on the supporting structures of FCC-ee booster and collider in the arc regions / Carra, F (CERN) ; Baudin, L (CERN) ; Bauche, J (CERN) ; Artoos, K (CERN) ; Atieh, S (CERN) ; Bertarelli, A (CERN) ; Brunner, O (CERN) ; Capatina, O (CERN) ; Chance, A (Saclay) ; Chemli, S (CERN) et al.
In 2022, the FCC Feasibility Study management mandated aworking group to analyse the best configuration of the FCC-ee tunnelin the arc regions, in view of the construction of a mock-up of thearc half-cell. One of the main and most challenging goals of thestudy, named FCC-ee Arc Half-Cell Mock-up Project, was toperform a preliminary investigation on the principles of supportingthe Short-Straight Sections and dipoles of the half-cells, both forthe booster and for the collider machines. FCC-ee $e^+e^-$ Injection and Booster rRng / Ramjiawan, Rebecca (CERN) ; Barnes, Michael (CERN) ; Bartmann, Wolfgang (CERN) ; Borburgh, Jan (CERN) ; Chancé, Antoine (Saclay) ; Dalena, Barbara (IRFU, Saclay) ; Dutheil, Yann (CERN) ; Hofer, Michael (CERN) ; Howling, Emily (Royal Holloway, U. of London) ; Hunchak, Patrick (Saskatchewan U.)
The Future Circular electron-positron Collider (FCC-ee) is a proposal for a 91.17 km collider, which would operate in four modes with energies ranging from 45.6 GeV (Z-pole) to 182.5 GeV (ttbar-production). At high energies the beam lifetime could be as low as 6 minutes, requiring the beam to be continuously topped up to reach a high integrated luminosity. [...]

FCC-ee arc half-cell: preliminary design & integration studies, with ideas for a mock-up / Carra, F (CERN) ; Baudin, L (CERN) ; Bauche, J (CERN) ; Artoos, K (CERN) ; Atieh, S (CERN) ; Bertarelli, A (CERN) ; Brunner, O (CERN) ; Capatina, O (CERN) ; Chance, A (Saclay) ; Chemli, S (CERN) et al.
During 2022, a dedicated study was undertaken at CERN, together with FCC Feasibility Study collaborators, aimed at proposing a robust configuration for the FCC-ee arc half cell. The proposed configuration takes into account integration aspects of the elements in the arc cross section, both for the booster and the collider, as well as aspects related to powering, cooling and ventilation, supporting and alignment, optics, instrumentation, handling and installation. Dynamic aperture predictions with echo state networks / Dalena, B (Saclay ; U. Paris-Saclay) ; Casanova, M (Saclay ; U. Paris-Saclay) ; Bruant, Q (Saclay ; U. Paris-Saclay) ; Bonaventura, L (Milan, Polytech.) ; Giovannozzi, M (CERN)
The calculation of the volume of the phase-space stability region of hadron storage rings is currently performed through computer simulations of particles tracking in 6D coordinates, which are resource -and time- intensive processes. We have investigated in a previous paper the ability of an ensemble reservoir computing approach based on Echo State Networks to predict the long-term evolution of the radius of the phase-space region in which the motion of charged particles in hadron storage rings is bounded. Status and challenges of the Future Circular Hadron Collider FCC-hh / Benedikt, M (CERN) ; Chance, A (IRFU, Saclay) ; Dalena, B (IRFU, Saclay) ; Denisov, D (Brookhaven) ; Giovannozzi, M (CERN) ; Gutleber, J (CERN) ; Losito, R (CERN) ; Mangano, M (CERN) ; Raubenheimer, T (SLAC) ; Riegler, W (CERN) et al.
The Future Circular Collider (FCC) study was launched as a worldwide international collaboration hosted by CERN with the ultimate goal of pushing the energy frontier far beyond the LHC. FCC covers two accelerators, namely an energy-frontier hadron collider (FCC-hh) and a highest luminosity, high-energy lepton collider (FCC-ee) serving as electroweak Higgs factory, as a possible first stage. In the context of the FCC IS European study, which investigates the feasibility of a 100 km circular 𝑒+𝑒− collider for the future high-energy physics research, we present the status of the High Energy Booster (HEB) ring. In order to perform precision measurements of the Z, W and H bosons, as well as of the top quark, unprecedented luminosities are required. [...]
