Charged-current non-standard neutrino interactions at Daya Bay / Daya Bay Collaboration
The full data set of the Daya Bay reactor neutrino experiment is used to probe the effect of the charged current non-standard interactions (CC-NSI) on neutrino oscillation experiments. Two different approaches are applied and constraints on the corresponding CC-NSI parameters are obtained with the neutrino flux taken from the Huber-Mueller model with a $5\%$ uncertainty. [...]

(SUPA, UK ; Strathclyde U.); Aßmann, Tobias (Ulm U.); Augst, Nadja (DLR, Neustrelitz); Badurina, Leonardo (King's Coll. London ; Caltech) et al.
This document presents a summary of the 2023 Terrestrial Very-Long-Baseline Atom Interferometry Workshop hosted by CERN. The workshop brought together experts from around the world to discuss the exciting developments in large-scale atom interferometer (AI) prototypes and their potential for detecting ultralight dark matter and gravitational waves. Precision Measurement of Reactor Antineutrino Oscillation at Kilometer-Scale Baselines by Daya Bay / Daya Bay Collaboration
We present a new determination of the smallest neutrino mixing angle ${\theta}_{13}$ and the mass-squared difference ${\Delta}{\rm m}^{2}_{32}$ using a final sample of $5.55 \times 10^{6}$ inverse beta-decay (IBD) candidates with the final-state neutron captured on gadolinium. This sample was selected from the complete data set obtained by the Daya Bay reactor neutrino experiment in 3158 days of operation. [...]

Model Independent Approach of the JUNO $^8$B Solar Neutrino Program / JUNO Collaboration
The physics potential of detecting $^8$B solar neutrinos is exploited at the Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO), in a model independent manner by using three distinct channels of the charged-current (CC), neutral-current (NC) and elastic scattering (ES) interactions. [...]

A Predictive and Testable Unified Theory of Fermion Masses, Mixing and Leptogenesis / Fu, Bowen (Southampton U.) ; King, Stephen F. (Southampton U.) ; Marsili, Luca (Bologna U.) ; Pascoli, Silvia (Bologna U. ; INFN, Bologna ; CERN) ; Turner, Jessica (Durham U., IPPP) ; Zhou, Ye-Ling (HIAS, UCAS, Hangzhou ; ICTP-AP, Beijing)
We consider a minimal non-supersymmetric $SO(10)$ Grand Unified Theory (GUT) model that can reproduce the observed fermionic masses and mixing parameters of the Standard Model. We calculate the scales of spontaneous symmetry breaking from the GUT to the Standard Model gauge group using two-loop renormalisation group equations. [...]

VIPER: an industrially scalable high-current high-temperature superconductor cable / Hartwig, Zachary S (MIT) ; Vieira, Rui F (MIT) ; Sorbom, Brandon N (Cambridge U.) ; Badcock, Rodney A (Victoria U., Wellington) ; Bajko, Marta (CERN) ; Beck, William K (MIT) ; Castaldo, Bernardo (CERN) ; Craighill, Christopher L (MIT, Bates Linear Accelerator) ; Davies, Michael (Victoria U., Wellington) ; Estrada, Jose (MIT) et al.
High-temperature superconductors (HTS) promise to revolutionize high-power applications like wind generators, DC power cables, particle accelerators, and fusion energy devices. A practical HTS cable must not degrade under severe mechanical, electrical, and thermal conditions; have simple, low-resistance, and manufacturable electrical joints; high thermal stability; and rapid detection of thermal runaway quench events. Possible Odderon exchange in $pp$ and $\bar {p}p$ elastic collisions at the TOTEM experiment / Lu, Juan (GXUST, Liuzhou) ; Zhou, Li-Juan (GXUST, Liuzhou) ; Fang, Zhi-Jie (GXUST, Liuzhou)
Based on the Froissart-Martin theorem, the Regge theory and the possible Odderon exchange, the total cross-section and the ratio of the real to imaginary parts of the forward scattering amplitude in the and elastic collisions in the TOTEM energy region are studied in the FPO model. We consider the contributions of the Froissart bound and of the Pomeron, Reggeon and Odderon exchange terms in the scattering amplitude of the and elastic collisions. [...]

Determination of jet calibration and energy resolution in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 8 TeV using the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
The jet energy scale, jet energy resolution, and their systematic uncertainties are measured for jets reconstructed with the ATLAS detector in 2012 using proton-proton data produced at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV with an integrated luminosity of 20 fb$^{-1}$. Jets are reconstructed from clusters of energy depositions in the ATLAS calorimeters using the anti-$k_t$ algorithm. [...]

Observation of electroweak production of a same-sign $W$ boson pair in association with two jets in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
This Letter presents the observation and measurement of electroweak production of a same-sign $W$ boson pair in association with two jets using 36.1 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data recorded at a center-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The analysis is performed in the detector fiducial phase-space region, defined by the presence of two same-sign leptons, electron or muon, and at least two jets with a large invariant mass and rapidity difference.
