First β-decay spectroscopy of $^{135}$In and new $β$-decay branches of $^{134}$In
/ IDS Collaboration
The $\beta$ decay of the neutron-rich $^{134}$In and $^{135}$In was investigated experimentally in order to provide new insights into the nuclear structure of the tin isotopes with magic proton number $Z=50$ above the $N=82$ shell. The $\beta$-delayed $\gamma$-ray spectroscopy measurement was performed at the ISOLDE facility at CERN, where indium isotopes were selectively laser-ionized and on-line mass separated. [...]

Low-spin states in $^{80}$Ge populated in the $\beta$ decay of the $^{80}$Ga $3^-$ isomer

The structure of
$^{80}$Ge has been investigated at the ISOLDE facility at CERN. A previous study reported for the first time a low-lying $0^+_2$ intruder state at 639 keV, based on the coincidence with a previously unobserved 1764-keV $γ$ ray, and suggested it as evidence for shape coexistence in $^{80}$Ge. [...]

Detailed spectroscopy of doubly magic $^{132}$Sn
/ IS610 Collaboration
The structure of the doubly magic $^{132}_{50}$Sn$_{82}$ has been investigated at the ISOLDE facility at CERN, populated both by the $\beta^-$ decay of $^{132}$In and $\beta^-$-delayed neutron emission of $^{133}$In. The level scheme of $^{132}$Sn is greatly expanded with the addition of 68 $\gamma$ transitions and 17 levels observed for the first time in the $\beta$ decay. [...]

Search for the $^{73}\mathrm{Ga}$ ground-state doublet splitting in the $\beta$ decay of $^{73}\mathrm{Zn}$
/ Vedia, V (UCM, Madrid, Dept. Phys.) ; Paziy, V (UCM, Madrid, Dept. Phys.) ; Fraile, L M (UCM, Madrid, Dept. Phys.) ; Mach, H (UCM, Madrid, Dept. Phys. ; NCBJ, Swierk) ; Walters, W B (Maryland U., Dept. Chem.) ; Aprahamian, A (Notre Dame U.) ; Bernards, C (Cologne U. ; Yale U. (main)) ; Briz, J A (Madrid, Inst. Estructura Materia) ; Bucher, B (Notre Dame U. ; LLNL, Livermore) ; Chiara, C J (Maryland U., Dept. Chem. ; Argonne, PHY) et al.
The existence of two close-lying nuclear states in $^{73}$Ga has recently been experimentally determined: a 1/2$^−$ spin-parity for the ground state was measured in a laser spectroscopy experiment, while a J$^{\pi} = 3/2^−$ level was observed in transfer reactions. This scenario is supported by Coulomb excitation studies, which set a limit for the energy splitting of 0.8 keV. [...]

Search for shape-coexisting 0$^+$ states in $^{66}$Ni from lifetime measurements
/ Olaizola, B (UCM, Madrid, Dept. Phys.) ; Fraile, L M (UCM, Madrid, Dept. Phys.) ; Mach, H (UCM, Madrid, Dept. Phys. ; NCBJ, Warsaw) ; Poves, A (Madrid, Autonoma U.) ; Nowacki, F (Strasbourg, IPHC) ; Aprahamian, A (Notre Dame U.) ; Briz, J A (Madrid, Inst. The lifetime of the 0$_3^+$ state in $^{66}$Ni, two neutrons below the $N=40$ subshell gap, has been measured. The transition $B(E2;0_3^+ \rightarrow 2_1^+)$ is one of the most hindered E2 transitions in the Ni isotopic chain and it implies that, unlike $^{68}$Ni, there is a spherical structure at low excitation energy. Lifetimes and shape-coexisting states of $^{99}Zr$

Lifetimes of intermediate-spin states in two rotational bands of $^{99}Zr$ have been measured. These states were populated following the neutron-induced fission of $^{235}U$ at the PF1B beamline of the Institut Laue-Langevin, Grenoble, during the EXILL-FATIMA campaign. [...]

The occurrence of octupolar shapes in the Ba isotopic chain was recently established experimentally up to $N=90$. To further extend the systematics, the evolution of shapes in the most neutron-rich members of the $Z=56$ isotopic chain accessible at present, $^{148,150}$Ba, has been studied via $\beta$ decay at the ISOLDE Decay Station.
