A Compact Front-End Circuit for a Monolithic Sensor in a 65-nm CMOS Imaging Technology / Piro, F (CERN ; Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne) ; Rinella, G Aglieri (CERN) ; Andronic, A (U. Munster) ; Antonelli, M (INFN, Trieste) ; Aresti, M (Cagliari U. ; INFN, Cagliari) ; Baccomi, R (INFN, Trieste) ; Becht, P (Heidelberg U.) ; Beolè, S (Turin U. ; INFN, Turin) ; Braach, J (CERN) ; Buckland, M D (INFN, Trieste ; Trieste U.) et al.
This article presents the design of a front-end circuit for monolithic active pixel sensors (MAPSs). The circuit operates with a sensor featuring a small, low-capacitance (< 2 fF) collection electrode and is integrated into the DPTS chip, a proof-of-principle prototype of 1.5×1.5 mm including a matrix of 32×32 pixels with a pitch of 15μm . Intensified Tpx3Cam, a fast data-driven optical camera with nanosecond timing resolution for single photon detection in quantum applications / Nomerotski, Andrei (Brookhaven) ; Chekhlov, Matthew (Brookhaven) ; Dolzhenko, Denis (Brookhaven) ; Glazenborg, Rene (Photonis, Brive) ; Farella, Brianna (Brookhaven) ; Keach, Michael (Brookhaven) ; Mahon, Ryan (Brookhaven) ; Orlov, Dmitry (Photonis, Brive) ; Svihra, Peter (Prague, Tech. U. ; CERN)
We describe a fast data-driven optical camera, Tpx3Cam, with nanosecond scale timing resolution and 80 Mpixel/sec throughput. After the addition of intensifier, the camera is single photon sensitive with quantum efficiency determined primarily by the intensifier photocathode. [...]

Within the ATTRACT FASTPIX project, a monolithic pixel sensor demonstrator chip has been developed in a modified 180 nm CMOS imaging process technology, targeting sub-nanosecond timing precision for single ionising particles. It features a small collection electrode design on a 25 micrometers-thick epitaxial layer and contains 32 mini matrices of 68 hexagonal pixels each, with pixel pitches ranging from 8.66 to 20 micrometers. Measurement of $\Xi^{+}_{c}$ production in pPb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}=8.16$ TeV at LHCb / LHCb Collaboration
A study of prompt $\Xi_{c}^{+}$ production in proton-lead collisions is performed with the LHCb experiment at a centre-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of 8.16 TeV in 2016 in $p$Pb and Pb$p$ collisions with an estimated integrated luminosity of approximately 12.5 and 17.4 nb$^{-1}$, respectively. The $\Xi_{c}^{+}$ production cross-section, as well as the $\Xi_{c}^{+}$ to $\Lambda_{c}^{+}$ production cross-section ratio, are measured as a function of the transverse momentum and rapidity and compared to latest theory predictions.
