Advantages of hybrid positron sources with granular converters / Chehab, R (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Chaikovska, I (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Alharthi, F (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Guler, H (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Mytrochenko, V (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Wallon, S (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Sievers, P (CERN)
The interest in crystal effects and more precisely for channeling radiation in axially oriented crystals is underlined. An association of a photon radiator using a crystal followed by an amorphous converter may have advantages concerning heating considerations. [...]

Target Studies for the FCC-ee Positron Source / Alharthi, F (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Bandiera, L (INFN, Ferrara ; Ferrara U.) ; Chaikovska, I (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Chehab, R (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Diefenbach, J (Helmholtz Inst., Mainz) ; Khomyshyn, O (Taras Shevchenko U.) ; Klekots, D (Taras Shevchenko U.) ; Lauth, W (Helmholtz Inst., Mainz) ; Mazzolari, A (INFN, Ferrara ; Ferrara U.) ; Mytrochenko, V (Kharkov, KIPT) et al.
FCC-ee injector study foresees 3.5~nC electron and positron bunches with 200 Hz repetition and 2 bunches per linac pulse at 6~GeV extraction energy. Regarding the possible options of positron production, we retain both of the conventional amorphous target and the hybrid target options. [...]

Vibration and luminosity frequency analysis of the SuperKEKB collider / Serluca, Maurizio (Annecy, LAPP) ; Balik, Gael (Annecy, LAPP) ; Brunetti, Laurent (Annecy, LAPP) ; Aimard, Benjamin (Annecy, LAPP) ; Dominjon, Agnes (Annecy, LAPP) ; Bambade, Philip (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Wallon, Sandry (IJCLab, Orsay) ; Di Carlo, Salvatore (CERN) ; Masuzawa, Mika (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Uehara, Sadaharu (KEK, Tsukuba)
The SuperKEKB collider has entered the physics production phase with the aim to reach its target luminosity of 6×1035 cm−2s−1. Vibrations of the accelerator elements, especially around the Interaction Point (IP), could limit the performance of the collider. [...]

Beam halo collimation studies and measurements at the Accelerator Test Facility ATF2 / Fuster-Martínez, N (CERN) ; Bambade, P (Orsay, LAL) ; Faus-Golfe, A (Orsay, LAL) ; Kubo, K (KEK, Tsukuba ; Sokendai, Tsukuba) ; Liu, S (DESY) ; Okugi, T (KEK, Tsukuba ; Sokendai, Tsukuba) ; Tauchi, T (KEK, Tsukuba ; Sokendai, Tsukuba) ; Terunuma, N (KEK, Tsukuba ; Sokendai, Tsukuba) ; Wallon, S (Orsay, LAL) ; Yang, R (Orsay, LAL)
A beam halo collimator was installed at the Accelerator Test Facility ATF2 in the spring of 2016. The main objective of the collimator is the reduction of background photons that limit the performance of key diagnostic devices around the Interaction Point, especially the Shintake Monitor, used for measuring the nanometer level vertical beam sizes, and the vertical and horizontal Diamond Sensors, used for transverse beam halo measurements.
