Tests of General Relativity with GWTC-3 / LIGO Scientific Collaboration
The ever-increasing number of detections of gravitational waves (GWs) from compact binaries by the Advanced LIGO and Advanced Virgo detectors allows us to perform ever-more sensitive tests of general relativity (GR) in the dynamical and strong-field regime of gravity. [...]

Recent results from the LHCf and RHICf experiments / LHCf Collaboration
The Large Hadron Collider forward and the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider forward experiments measured forward particles produced in high-energy hadron collisions at the LHC and RHIC. Using compact calorimeters neutral particles produced in pseudorapidities η >8.4 and η >6.0 are observed by the respective experiments. [...]

Search for Subsolar-Mass Binaries in the First Half of Advanced LIGO’s and Advanced Virgo’s Third Observing Run / LIGO Scientific Collaboration
We report on a search for compact binary coalescences where at least one binary component has a mass between 0.2 $M_\odot$ and 1.0 $M_\odot$ in Advanced LIGO and Advanced Virgo data collected between 1 April 2019 1500 UTC and 1 October 2019 1500 UTC. We extend previous analyses in two main ways: we include data from the Virgo detector and we allow for more unequal mass systems, with mass ratio $q \geq 0.1$. [...]

Highly charged radioactive ions can be stored for extended periods of time in storage rings which allows for precision measurements of their decay modes. The straightforward motivation for performing such studies is that fully ionised nuclei or few-electron ions can be viewed as clean quantum-mechanical systems, in which the interactions of the many electrons can be either excluded or treated precisely. The LHCf experiment: recent physics results / Berti, E (INFN, Florence ; Florence U.) ; Adriani, O (INFN, Florence ; Florence U.) ; Bonechi, L (INFN, Florence) ; Bongi, M (INFN, Florence ; Florence U.) ; D'Alessandro, R (INFN, Florence ; Florence U.) ; Haguenauer, M (Ec. The main aim of the LHCf experiment is to provide precise measurements of the production spectra relative to neutral particles produced in the very forward region by high energy proton-proton and proton-ion collisions. This information is necessary in order to test and tune hadronic interaction models used by ground-based cosmic rays experiments. [...]

The Large Hadron Collider forward (LHCf) experiment was motivated to understand the hadronic interaction processes relevant to cosmic-ray air shower development. We have developed radiation-hard detectors with the use of Gd$_2$SiO$_5$ (GSO) scintillators for proton-proton $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV collisions. [...]
