Study of the corrector systems for the new lattice of the CERN hadron-hadron Future Circular Collider / Perez-Segurana, Gustavo (CERN) ; Todesco, Ezio (CERN) ; Giovannozzi, Massimo (CERN)
A new layout for the energy-frontier hadron collider (FCC-hh) under study at CERN has been designed, following the constraints imposed by the outcome of recent tunnel placement studies. The new lattice and the need to maximize the dipole filling factor triggered a deep revision of the corrector systems located in the regular arcs, such as orbit, tune, linear coupling, and chromaticity correctors. [...]

A new baseline layout for the FCC-hh ring / Perez-Segurana, Gustavo (CERN) ; Abramov, Andrey (CERN) ; Zimmermann, Frank (CERN) ; Giovannozzi, Massimo (CERN) ; Benedikt, Michael (CERN) ; Bruce, Roderik (CERN) ; Risselada, Thys (CERN) ; Bartmann, Wolfgang (CERN)
The Future Circular Collider (FCC) study includes two accelerators, a high-energy lepton collider (FCC-ee) and an energy-frontier hadron collider (FCC-hh). Both machines share the same tunnel infrastructure. [...]

Revised Collimation Configuration for the Updated FCC-hh Layout / Abramov, Andrey (CERN) ; Bruce, Roderik (CERN) ; Giovannozzi, Massimo (CERN) ; Pérez Segurana, Gustavo (CERN) ; Redaelli, Stefano (CERN) ; Risselada, Thys (CERN)
The collimation system for the hadron Future Circular Collider (FCC-hh) must handle proton beams with an unprecedented nominal beam energy and stored beam energy in excess of 8 GJ, and protect the superconducting magnets and other sensitive equipment while ensuring a high operational efficiency. The recent development of the 16-dipole lattice baseline for the FCC-hh, and the associated layout changes, has necessitated an adaptation of the collimation system. [...]

Recent updates of the layout of the lattice of the CERN hadron-hadron Future Circular Collider / Abramov, A (CERN) ; Bartmann, W (CERN) ; Benedikt, M (CERN) ; Bruce, R (CERN) ; Giovannozzi, M (CERN) ; Perez Segurana, G (CERN) ; Risselada, T (CERN) ; Zimmermann, F (CERN)
The Future Circular Collider (FCC) study comprises two accelerators, namely a high-energy lepton collider (FCC-ee) and an energy-frontier hadron collider (FCC-hh). Both rings share the same tunnel infrastructure, analogous to LEP and LHC. [...]

Collimation system for the updated FCC-hh design baseline / Abramov, A (CERN) ; Bruce, R (CERN) ; Giovannozzi, M (CERN) ; Perez-Segurana, G (CERN) ; Redaelli, S (CERN) ; Risselada, T (CERN)
For the Future Circular Collider (FCC) Conceptual Design Report (CDR), the FCC-hh collimation system was studied and optimized for proton and heavy-ion operation with up to 8.3 GJ stored beam energy. There are currently studies ongoing for an updated design baseline, including a new ring layout, compatible with the FCC-ee, and optics, where the collimation insertions have undergone major changes. The Large Hadron-Electron Collider at the HL-LHC / FCC-he Study Group Collaboration
The Large Hadron electron Collider, LHeC, is the means to move deep inelastic physics following HERA to the energy frontier of particle physics as it is being exploited by the HL-LHC. The paper presents a thorough update of the initial LHeC Conceptual Design Report (CDR) published in 2012. [...]
