Phys. ; Darmstadt, GSI ; Helmholtz Inst., Mainz) ; Colangelo, G. (U. Bern, AEC) et al.
We review the present status of the Standard Model calculation of the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon. This is performed in a perturbative expansion in the fine-structure constant $\alpha$ and is broken down into pure QED, electroweak, and hadronic contributions. [...]

We present the achievements of the last years of the experimental and theoretical groups working on hadronic cross section measurements at the low energy e+e- colliders in Beijing, Frascati, Ithaca, Novosibirsk, Stanford and Tsukuba and on tau decays. We sketch the prospects in these fields for the years to come. [...]

High-precision analyses of supersymmetry parameters aim at reconstructing the fundamental supersymmetric theory and its breaking mechanism. A well defined theoretical framework is needed when higher-order corrections are included. [...]

The SM prediction of g-2 of the muon
/ Hagiwara, K ; Martin, A D ; Teubner, Thomas ; Nomura, Daisuke
We calculate (g-2)/2 of the muon, by improving the determination of the hadronic vacuum polarisation contribution, a_mu^{had,LO}, and its uncertainties. The different e+e- data sets for each exclusive (and the inclusive) channel are combined in order to obtain the optimum estimate of the cross sections and their uncertainties. [...]
