Galactic and Extragalactic Analysis of the Astrophysical Muon Neutrino Flux with 12.3 years of IceCube Track Data / IceCube Collaboration
The Ice Cube Neutrino Observatory has been measuring an isotropic astrophysical neutrino flux in multiple detection channels for almost a decade. Galactic diffuse emission, which arises from the interactions between cosmic rays and the interstellar medium, is an expected signal in IceCube. [...]

A Study of the Radiation Tolerance of CVD Diamond to 70 MeV Protons, Fast Neutrons and 200 MeV Pions / RD42 Collaboration
We measured the radiation tolerance of commercially available diamonds grown by the Chemical Vapor Deposition process by measuring the charge created by a 120 GeV hadron beam in a 50 μm pitch strip detector fabricated on each diamond sample before and after irradiation. We irradiated one group of samples with 70 MeV protons, a second group of samples with fast reactor neutrons (defined as energy greater than 0.1 MeV), and a third group of samples with 200 MeV pions, in steps, to (8.8±0.9) × 1015 protons/cm2, (1.43±0.14) × 1016 neutrons/cm2, and (6.5±1.4) × 1014 pions/cm2, respectively. Determination of jet calibration and energy resolution in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 8 TeV using the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
The jet energy scale, jet energy resolution, and their systematic uncertainties are measured for jets reconstructed with the ATLAS detector in 2012 using proton-proton data produced at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV with an integrated luminosity of 20 fb$^{-1}$. Jets are reconstructed from clusters of energy depositions in the ATLAS calorimeters using the anti-$k_t$ algorithm. [...]

Comparison between simulated and observed LHC beam backgrounds in the ATLAS experiment at $E_{\rm beam} = 4$ TeV / ATLAS Collaboration
Results of dedicated Monte Carlo simulations of beam-induced background (BIB) in the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) are presented and compared with data recorded in 2012. During normal physics operation this background arises mainly from scattering of the 4 TeV protons on residual gas in the beam pipe. [...]

A strategy for a general search for new phenomena using data-derived signal regions and its application within the ATLAS experiment / ATLAS Collaboration
This paper describes a strategy for a general search used by the ATLAS Collaboration to find potential indications of new physics. Events are classified according to their final state into many event classes. [...]

Search for pair production of higgsinos in final states with at least three $b$-tagged jets in $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV $pp$ collisions using the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
A search for pair production of the supersymmetric partners of the Higgs boson (higgsinos $\tilde{H}$) in gauge-mediated scenarios is reported. Each higgsino is assumed to decay to a Higgs boson and a gravitino. [...]

Search for resonant $WZ$ production in the fully leptonic final state in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
A search for a heavy resonance decaying into $WZ$ in the fully leptonic channel (electrons and muons) is performed. It is based on proton-proton collision data collected by the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 36.1 fb$^{-1}$. Measurement of the Higgs boson mass in the $H\rightarrow ZZ^* \rightarrow 4\ell$ and $H \rightarrow \gamma\gamma$ channels with $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV $pp$ collisions using the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
The mass of the Higgs boson is measured in the $H\rightarrow ZZ^* \rightarrow 4\ell$ and in the $H\rightarrow \gamma\gamma$ decay channels with 36.1 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data from the Large Hadron Collider at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV recorded by the ATLAS detector in 2015 and 2016. The measured value in the $H\rightarrow ZZ^* \rightarrow 4\ell$ channel is $m_{H}^{ZZ^{*}} = 124.79 \pm 0.37$ GeV, while the measured value in the $H\rightarrow \gamma\gamma$ channel is $m_{H}^{\gamma \gamma} = 124.93 \pm 0.40$ GeV. Search for new phenomena using the invariant mass distribution of same-flavour opposite-sign dilepton pairs in events with missing transverse momentum in $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV $pp$ collisions with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
A search for new phenomena in final states containing an $e^+e^-$ or $\mu^+\mu^-$ pair, jets, and large missing transverse momentum is presented. This analysis makes use of proton--proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of $36.1 \; \mathrm{fb}^{-1}$, collected during 2015 and 2016 at a centre-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. Measurement of dijet azimuthal decorrelations in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=8$ TeV with the ATLAS detector and determination of the strong coupling / ATLAS Collaboration
A measurement of the rapidity and transverse momentum dependence of dijet azimuthal decorrelations is presented, using the quantity $R_{\Delta \phi}$. The quantity $R_{\Delta \phi}$ specifies the fraction of the inclusive dijet events in which the azimuthal opening angle of the two jets with the highest transverse momenta is less than a given value of the parameter $\Delta \phi_\mathrm{max}$.
