Model-independent confirmation of the $Z(4430)^-$ state / LHCb collaboration
The decay $B^0\to \psi(2S) K^+\pi^-$ is analyzed using $\rm 3~fb^{-1}$ of $pp$ collision data collected with the LHCb detector. A model-independent description of the $\psi(2S) \pi$ mass spectrum is obtained, using as input the $K\pi$ mass spectrum and angular distribution derived directly from data, without requiring a theoretical description of resonance shapes or their interference. Systematic profiling to monitor and specify the software refactoring process of the LHCb experiment / Couturier, Ben (CERN) ; Kiagias, E (Athens U.) ; Lohn, Stefan B (CERN)
The LHCb upgrade program implies a significant increase in data processing that will not be matched by additional computing resources. Furthermore, new architectures such as many-core platforms can currently not be fully exploited due to memory and I/O bandwidth limitations. [...]

Studies of the resonance structure in $D^0\to K^0_S K^{\pm}\pi^{\mp}$ decays / LHCb Collaboration
Amplitude models are applied to studies of resonance structure in $D^0\to K^0_S K^- \pi^+$ and $D^0\to K^0_S K^+ \pi^-$ decays using $pp$ collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3.0\,\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ collected by the LHCb experiment. Relative magnitude and phase information is determined, and coherence factors and related observables are computed for both the whole phase space and a restricted region of $100\,\mathrm{MeV/}c^2$ around the $K^{*}(892)^{\pm}$ resonance. Measurement of the branching fraction ratio $\mathcal{B}(B_c^+ \rightarrow \psi(2S)\pi^+)/\mathcal{B}(B_c^+ \rightarrow J/\psi \pi^+)$ / LHCb collaboration
Using $pp$ collision data collected by LHCb at center-of-mass energies $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 TeV and 8 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb$^{-1}$, the ratio of the branching fraction of the $B_c^+ \rightarrow \psi(2S)\pi^+$ decay relative to that of the $B_c^+ \rightarrow J/\psi\pi^+$ decay is measured to be 0.268 $\pm$ 0.032 (stat) $\pm$ 0.007 (syst) $\pm$ 0.006 (BF). The first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic, and the third is due to the uncertainties on the branching fractions of the $J/\psi \rightarrow \mu^+\mu^-$ and $\psi(2S) \rightarrow \mu^+\mu^-$ decays. Search for long-lived heavy charged particles using a ring imaging Cherenkov technique at LHCb / LHCb collaboration
A search is performed for heavy long-lived charged particles using 3.0 fb$^{-1}$ of pp collisions collected at $\sqrt{s}$= 7 and 8 TeV with the LHCb detector. The search is mainly based on the response of the ring imaging Cherenkovdetectors to distinguish the heavy, slow-moving particles from muons. [...]

Angular analysis and differential branching fraction of the decay $B^0_s\to\phi\mu^+\mu^-$ / LHCb collaboration
An angular analysis and a measurement of the differential branching fraction of the decay $B^0_s\to\phi\mu^+\mu^-$ are presented, using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3.0\, {\rm fb}^{-1}$ of $pp$ collisions recorded by the LHCb experiment at $\sqrt{s} = 7$ and $8\, {\rm TeV}$. Measurements are reported as a function of $q^{2}$, the square of the dimuon invariant mass and results of the angular analysis are found to be consistent with the Standard Model. [...]

The branching fraction ratio $\mathcal{R}(D^{*}) \equiv \mathcal{B}(\overline{B}^0 \to D^{*+}\tau^{-}\overline{\nu}_{\tau})/\mathcal{B}(\overline{B}^0 \to D^{*+}\mu^{-}\overline{\nu}_{\mu})$ is measured using a sample of proton-proton collision data corresponding to 3.0 fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity recorded by the LHCb experiment during 2011 and 2012. The tau lepton is identified in the decay mode $\tau^{-} \to \mu^{-}\overline{\nu}_{\mu}\nu_{\tau}$. [...]

Measurement of the exclusive $\Upsilon$ production cross-section in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=$7 TeV and 8 TeV / LHCb collaboration
A study is presented of central exclusive production of $\Upsilon(nS)$ states, where the $\Upsilon(nS)$ resonances decay to the $\mu^+\mu^-$ final state, using $pp$ collision data recorded by the LHCb experiment. The cross-section is measured in the rapidity range $2 < y (\Upsilon) < 4.5$ where the muons are reconstructed in the pseudorapidity range $2<\eta(\mu^\pm)<4.5$. [...]
