A parton branching with transverse momentum dependent splitting functions
/ Hautmann, F. (Antwerp U. ; CERN ; Oxford U.) ; Hentschinski, M. (Americas U., Puebla) ; Keersmaekers, L. (Antwerp U.) ; Kusina, A. (Cracow, INP) ; Kutak, K. (Cracow, INP) ; Lelek, A. (Antwerp U.)
Off-shell, transverse-momentum dependent splitting functions can be defined from the high-energy limit of partonic decay amplitudes. Based on these splitting functions, we construct Sudakov form factors and formulate a new parton branching algorithm. [...]

The Forward Physics Facility at the High-Luminosity LHC
/ Feng, Jonathan L. (UC, Irvine) ; Kling, Felix (DESY) ; Reno, Mary Hall (Iowa U.) ; Rojo, Juan (NIKHEF, Amsterdam ; Vrije U., Amsterdam) ; Soldin, Dennis (Delaware U.) ; Anchordoqui, Luis A. (Lehman Coll.) ; Boyd, Jamie (CERN) ; Ismail, Ahmed (Oklahoma State U.) ; Harland-Lang, Lucian (Oxford U. ; Oxford U., Theor. Phys.) ; Kelly, Kevin J. (CERN) et al.
High energy collisions at the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (LHC) produce a large number of particles along the beam collision axis, outside of the acceptance of existing LHC experiments. The proposed Forward Physics Facility (FPF), to be located several hundred meters from the ATLAS interaction point and shielded by concrete and rock, will host a suite of experiments to probe Standard Model (SM) processes and search for physics beyond the Standard Model (BSM) [...]

Extraction of the multi-TeV proton and lead LHC beams with a bent crystal or by using an internal gas target allows one to perform the most energetic fixed-target experiment ever. $pp$, pd and $p$A collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 115 GeV and Pb$p$ and PbA collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 72 GeV can be studied with high precision and modern detection techniques over a broad rapidity range. Physics perspectives with AFTER@LHC (A Fixed Target ExpeRiment at LHC)

AFTER@LHC is an ambitious fixed-target project in order to address open questions in the domain of proton and neutron spins, Quark Gluon Plasma and high-$x$ physics, at the highest energy ever reached in the fixed-target mode. Indeed, thanks to the highly energetic 7 TeV proton and 2.76 A.TeV lead LHC beams, center-of-mass energies as large as $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 115 GeV in pp/pA and $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 72 GeV in AA can be reached, corresponding to an uncharted energy domain between SPS and RHIC. Z boson production in proton-lead collisions accounting for transverse momenta of initial partons
/ Kutak, Krzysztof (Cracow, INP) ; Blanco, Etienne (Cracow, INP) ; Jung, Hannes (CERN ; DESY) ; Kusina, Aleksander (Cracow, INP) ; van Hameren, Andreas (Cracow, INP)
We report on a recent calculation of inclusive Z boson production in proton-lead collisions at theLHC taking into account the transverse momenta of the initial partons [1]. In the calculation the frameworkof $k_T$-factorization has been used. [...]

Summary of the NuSTEC Workshop on Shallow- and Deep-Inelastic Scattering
/ NuSTEC Collaboration
The NuSTEC workshop (https://indico.cern.ch/event/727283) held at L'Aquila in October 2018 was devoted to neutrino-nucleus scattering in the kinematic region where hadronic systems with invariant masses above the $\Delta(1232)$ resonance are produced: the so-called shallow- and deep-inelastic scattering regime. Spin Physics with a fixed-target experiment at the LHC
/ Echevarria, M.G. (INFN, Pavia) ; Brodsky, S.J. (SLAC) ; Cavoto, G. (INFN, Rome ; Rome U.) ; Da Silva, C. (Los Alamos) ; Donato, F. (INFN, Turin ; Turin U.) ; Ferreiro, E.G. (Santiago de Compostela U.) ; Hadjidakis, C. (Orsay, IPN) ; Hřivnácová, I. (Orsay, IPN) ; Kikoła, D. (Warsaw U. of Tech.) ; Klein, A. (Los Alamos) et al.
The multi-TeV proton and ion beams of the LHC would allow for the most energetic fixed-target experiment ever. In particular, $pp$, $p$d and $p$A collisions could be performed at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 115~GeV, as well as Pb$p$ and PbA collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}$ = 72~GeV, in a parasitic way by making use of the already existing LHCb and ALICE detectors in fixed-target mode. High luminosity fixed-target experiment at the LHC
/ Hadjidakis, Cynthia (Orsay, IPN) ; Brodsky, S.J. (SLAC) ; Cavoto, G. (INFN, Rome ; Rome U.) ; Da Silva, C. (Los Alamos) ; Donato, F. (Turin U. ; INFN, Turin) ; Echevarria, M.G. By extracting the beam with a bent crystal or by using an internal gas target, the multi-TeV proton and lead LHC beams allow one to perform the most energetic fixed-target experiments ever and to study $pp$, $p$d and $p$A collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=115$ GeV and Pb$p$ and PbA collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=72$ GeV with high precision and modern detection techniques. Such studies would address open questions in the domain of the nucleon and nucleus partonic structure at high-$x$, quark-gluon plasma and, by using longitudinally or transversally polarised targets, spin physics. Ultra-peripheral-collision studies in the fixed-target mode with the proton and lead LHC beams
/ Yamanaka, Nodoka (Orsay, IPN) ; Hadjidakis, C. (Orsay, IPN) ; Kikoła, D. (Warsaw U. of Tech.) ; Lansberg, J.P. (Orsay, IPN) ; Massacrier, L. (Orsay, IPN) ; Echevarria, M.G. We address the physics case related to the studies of ultra-peripheral pH, pPb, PbH, and PbPb collisions in the fixed-target mode at the LHC. In particular, we discuss how one can measure the gluon generalized parton distribution $E_g(x,\xi,t)$ in exclusive $J/psi$ photoproduction with a transversely polarized hydrogen target..
