Overview of Recent Results from the SND Experiment at the VEPP-2000 Collider
/ SND Collaboration
Recent results on $e^{+}e^{-}$ annihilation to hadrons below 2 GeV obtained at the SND experiment at the VEPP-2000 collider are presented. In particular, we discuss measurements of the $e^{+}e^{-}\to\pi^{+}\pi^{-}$ and $e^{+}e^{-}\to n\bar{n}$ cross sections, and study of the processes $e^{+}e^{-}\to\pi^{+}\pi^{-}\pi^{0}$, $K^{+}K^{-}\pi^{0}$, $\eta\pi^{0}\gamma$, $\eta\eta\gamma$, $\omega\pi^{0}$, and $p\bar{p}$..

Role Based Access Control System in the ATLAS Experiment
/ Valsan, M L (Politehnica University Bucharest, Romania) ; Dobson, M (CERN) ; Lehmann Miotto, G (CERN) ; Scannicchio, D A (University of California at Irvine, USA) ; Schlenker, S (CERN) ; Filimonov, V (Petersburg Nuclear Physics Institute, Russia) ; Khomoutnikov, V (Petersburg Nuclear Physics Institute, Russia) ; Dumitru, I (Politehnica University Bucharest, Romania) ; Zaytsev, A S (Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics, Russia) ; Korol, A A (Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics, Russia) et al.
The complexity of the ATLAS experiment motivated the deployment of an integrated Access Control System in order to guarantee safe and optimal access for a large number of users to the various software and hardware resources. Such an integrated system was foreseen since the design of the infrastructure and is now central to the operations model. [...]

This paper gives a thorough overview of the ATLAS TDAQ SysAdmin group activities which deals with administration of the TDAQ computing environment supporting Front End detector hardware, Data Flow, Event Filter and other subsystems of the ATLAS detector operating on the LHC accelerator at CERN. The current installation consists of approximately 1500 netbooted nodes managed by more than 60 dedicated servers, a high performance centralized storage system, about 50 multi-screen user interface systems installed in the control rooms and various hardware and critical service monitoring machines.
