Detailed structure of Sn131 populated in the β decay of isomerically purified In131 states / IDS Collaboration
The excited structure of the single-hole nucleus Sn131 populated by the β− decay of In131 was investigated in detail at the ISOLDE facility at CERN. This new experiment took advantage of isomeric purification capabilities provided by resonant ionization, making it possible to independently study the decay of each isomer for the first time. [...]

On the nature of yrast states in neutron-rich polonium isotopes / IDS Collaboration
Polonium isotopes having two protons above the shell closure at $Z=82$ show a wide variety of low-lying high-spin isomeric states across the whole chain. [...]

β decay of the ground state and of a low-lying isomer in Bi216 / IDS Collaboration
A detailed β-decay study of the low- and high-spin states in Bi216 has been performed at the ISOLDE Decay Station at the CERN-ISOLDE facility. In total, 48 new levels and 83 new transitions in the β-decay daughter Po216 were identified. [...]

Deformation versus Sphericity in the Ground States of the Lightest Gold Isotopes / Cubiss, J G (York U., England) ; Andreyev, A N (York U., England ; JAEA, Ibaraki) ; Barzakh, A E (Unlisted) ; Van Duppen, P (KU Leuven, Dept. Phys. Astron.) ; Hilaire, S (CEA DAM) ; Péru, S (CEA DAM) ; Goriely, S (Brussels U., IAA) ; Al Monthery, M (York U., England) ; Althubiti, N A (Manchester U. ; Al Jouf U. ; Ain Shames U.) ; Andel, B (Comenius U.) et al.
The changes in mean-squared charge radii of neutron-deficient gold nuclei have been determined using the in-source, resonance-ionization laser spectroscopy technique, at the ISOLDE facility (CERN). From these new data, nuclear deformations are inferred, revealing a competition between deformed and spherical configurations. [...]

Coulomb excitation of Zn74,76 / ISOLDE Collaboration
The first experiment using radioactive beams post-accelerated by the HIE-ISOLDE facility has enabled to obtain a precise set of B(E2) transition probabilities in neutron-rich Zn74,76 isotopes. The resulting B(E2; 21+→01+) values are consistent with those determined in earlier REX-ISOLDE measurements. [...]

Background: The mercury isotopes around $N=104$ are a well-known example of nuclei exhibiting shape coexistence. Mixing of configurations can be studied by measuring the monopole strength $\rho^2(E0)$, however, currently the experimental information is scarce and lacks precision, especially for the $I^\pi \rightarrow I^\pi$ ($I \neq 0$) transitions. $^{133}$In: A Rosetta Stone for decays of r-process nuclei / Xu, Z.Y. (U. Tennessee, Knoxville) ; Madurga, M. (U. Tennessee, Knoxville) ; Grzywacz, R. (U. Tennessee, Knoxville ; Oak Ridge) ; King, T.T. (U. Tennessee, Knoxville ; Oak Ridge) ; Algora, A. (Valencia U., IFIC ; Debrecen, Inst. Nucl. Res.) ; Andreyev, A.N. The $\beta$ decays from both the ground state and a long-lived isomer of $^{133}$In were studied at the ISOLDE Decay Station (IDS). With a hybrid detection system sensitive to $\beta$, $\gamma$, and neutron spectroscopy, the comparative partial half-lives (logft) have been measured for all their dominant $\beta$-decay channels for the first time, including a low-energy Gamow-Teller transition and several First-Forbidden (FF) transitions. The decay properties of $^{133}$In were studied in detail at the ISOLDE Decay Station (IDS). The implementation of the Resonance Ionization Laser Ion Source (RILIS) allowed separate measurements of its $9/2^+$ ground state ($^{133g}$In) and $1/2^-$ isomer ($^{133m}$In). [...]

Direct measurement of fission barrier height of unstable heavy nuclei at ISOL facilities / ACTAR TPC Collaboration
Fission barrier height is one of the least known nuclear parameters, with experimental data, acquired decades ago, existing only close to beta-stability line. Availability of heavy radioactive beams offers possibility to investigate fission of more exotic nuclei and using the state of the art detection technique such as the active target we can even probe their fission barriers heights with precision has not been reached so far. [...]

Observation of the radiative decay of the ${}^{229}\mathrm{Th}$ nuclear clock isomer / Kraemer, Sandro (Leuven U. ; LMU Munich (main)) ; Moens, Janni (Leuven U.) ; Athanasakis-Kaklamanakis, Michail (Leuven U. ; CERN) ; Bara, Silvia (Leuven U.) ; Beeks, Kjeld (Vienna, Tech. The nucleus of the radioisotope thorium-229 (${}^{229}$Th) features an isomer with an exceptionally low excitation energy that enables direct laser manipulation of nuclear states. For this reason, it is a leading candidate for use in next-generation optical clocks. [...]
