The Forward Physics Facility at the High-Luminosity LHC / Feng, Jonathan L. High energy collisions at the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (LHC) produce a large number of particles along the beam collision axis, outside of the acceptance of existing LHC experiments. The proposed Forward Physics Facility (FPF), to be located several hundred meters from the ATLAS interaction point and shielded by concrete and rock, will host a suite of experiments to probe Standard Model (SM) processes and search for physics beyond the Standard Model (BSM) [...]

Long-lived Sterile Neutrinos at the LHC in Effective Field Theory / De Vries, Jordy (Massachusetts U., Amherst ; RIKEN BNL) ; Dreiner, Herbert K. (U. Bonn, Phys. Inst., BCTP) ; Günther, Julian Y. (U. Bonn, Phys. Inst., BCTP) ; Wang, Zeren Simon (APCTP, Pohang) ; Zhou, Guanghui (Massachusetts U., Amherst)
We study the prospects of a displaced-vertex search of sterile neutrinos at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in the framework of the neutrino-extended Standard Model Effective Field Theory ($\nu$SMEFT). The production and decay of sterile neutrinos can proceed via the standard active-sterile neutrino mixing in the weak current, as well as through higher-dimensional operators arising from decoupled new physics. Search for anomalous production of prompt same-sign lepton pairs and pair-produced doubly charged Higgs bosons with $\sqrt{s}$ = 8 TeV $pp$ collisions using the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
A low-background inclusive search for new physics in events with same-sign dileptons is presented. The search uses proton--proton collisions corresponding to 20.3 fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity taken in 2012 at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. [...]

Measurements of the Nuclear Modification Factor for Jets in Pb+Pb Collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}=2.76$ TeV with the ATLAS Detector / ATLAS Collaboration
Measurements of inclusive jet production are performed in $pp$ and Pb+Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}=2.76$ TeV with the ATLAS detector at the LHC, corresponding to integrated luminosities of 4.0 $\mathrm{pb}^{-1}$ and 0.14 $\mathrm{nb}^{-1}$ , respectively. The jets are identified with the anti-$k_t$ algorithm with $R=0.4$, and the spectra are measured over the kinematic range of jet transverse momentum $32 < p_{\mathrm{T}} < 500$ GeV, and absolute rapidity $|y| < 2.1$ and as a function of collision centrality. Measurement of three-jet production cross-sections in pp collisions at 7 TeV centre-of-mass energy using the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
Double-differential three-jet production cross-sections are measured in proton--proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s} = 7 TeV$ using the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The measurements are presented as a function of the three-jet mass $(m_{jjj})$, in bins of the sum of the absolute rapidity separations between the three leading jets $(|Y*|)$. [...]

Measurement of the inclusive jet cross-section in proton--proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}=7$ TeV using 4.5 $\mbox{fb}^{-1}$ of data with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
The inclusive jet cross-section is measured in proton--proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV using a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.5 $\mbox{fb}^{-1}$ collected with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider in 2011. Jets are identified using the anti-$k_t$ algorithm with radius parameter values of 0.4 and 0.6. [...]

Measurements of the W production cross sections in association with jets with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
This paper presents cross sections for the production of a W boson in association with jets, measured in proton--proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$=7 TeV with the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. With an integrated luminosity of $4.6 fb^{-1}$, this data set allows for an exploration of a large kinematic range, including jet production up to a transverse momentum of 1 TeV and multiplicities up to seven associated jets. Search for pair and single production of new heavy quarks that decay to a $Z$ boson and a third-generation quark in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=8$ TeV with the ATLAS detector / ATLAS Collaboration
A search is presented for the production of new heavy quarks that decay to a $Z$ boson and a third-generation Standard Model quark. In the case of a new charge +2/3 quark ($T$), the decay targeted is $T \rightarrow Zt$, while the decay targeted for a new charge -1/3 quark ($B$) is $B \rightarrow Zb$. [...]
