Gaia Data Release 3 - Stellar multiplicity, a teaser for the hidden treasure / Gaia Collaboration
Context.TheGaiaDR3 catalogue contains, for the first time, about 800 000 solutions with either orbital elements or trend parameters for astrometric, spectroscopic, and eclipsing binaries, and combinations of these three.Aims.With this paper, we aim to illustrate the huge potential of this large non-single-star catalogue.Methods.Using the orbital solutions and models of the binaries, we have built a catalogue of tens of thousands of stellar masses or lower limits thereof, some with consistent flux ratios. Properties concerning the completeness of the binary catalogues are discussed, statistical features of the orbital elements are explained, and a comparison with other catalogues is performed.Results.Illustrative applications are proposed for binaries across the Hertzsprung-Russell Diagram (HRD). Upgrade of the Process Control System for the Cryogenic Installation of the CERN LHC Atlas Liquid Argon Calorimeter / Fluder, Czeslaw (CERN) ; Fabre, Caroline (CERN) ; Goralczyk, Lukasz (CERN) ; Mastyna, Krzysztof (AGH-UST, Cracow) ; Pezzetti, Marco (CERN) ; Zmuda, Andrzej (CERN)
The ATLAS (LHC detector) Liquid Argon Calorimeter is classified as a critical cryogenic system due to its requirement for uninterrupted operation. The system has been in continuous nominal operation since the start-up of the LHC, operating with very high reliability and availability. [...]

Gaia Data Release 3 - Exploring and mapping the diffuse interstellar band at 862 nm / Gaia Collaboration
Context. Diffuse interstellar bands (DIBs) are common interstellar absorption features in spectroscopic observations but their origins remain unclear. [...]

Gaia Data Release 3: Chemical cartography of the Milky Way / Gaia Collaboration
Gaia DR3 opens a new era of all-sky spectral analysis of stellar populations thanks to the nearly 5.6 million stars observed by the RVS and parametrised by the GSP-spec module. The all-sky Gaia chemical cartography allows a powerful and precise chemo-dynamical view of the Milky Way with unprecedented spatial coverage and statistical robustness. [...]

Gaia Data Release 3: The extragalactic content / Gaia Collaboration
The Gaia Galactic survey mission is designed and optimized to obtain astrometry, photometry, and spectroscopy of nearly two billion stars in our Galaxy. Yet as an all-sky multi-epoch survey, Gaia also observes several million extragalactic objects down to a magnitude of G~21 mag. [...]

ICARUS at the Fermilab Short-Baseline Neutrino program: initial operation / ICARUS Collaboration
The ICARUS collaboration employed the 760-ton T600 detector in a successful three-year physics run at the underground LNGS laboratory studying neutrino oscillations with the CERN Neutrino to Gran Sasso beam (CNGS) and searching for atmospheric neutrino interactions. ICARUS performed a sensitive search for LSND-like anomalous $\nu_e$ appearance in the CNGS beam, which contributed to the constraints on the allowed parameters to a narrow region around 1 eV$^2$, where all the experimental results can be coherently accommodated at 90% C.L.. Gaia Early Data Release 3 - The celestial reference frame (Gaia-CRF3) / Gaia Collaboration
Gaia-CRF3 is the celestial reference frame for positions and proper motions in the third release of data from the Gaia mission, Gaia DR3 (and for the early third release, Gaia EDR3, which contains identical astrometric results). The reference frame is defined by the positions and proper motions at epoch 2016.0 for a specific set of extragalactic sources in the (E)DR3 catalogue. [...]

Operational experience with the Proto-DUNE NP02 and NP04 large volume liquid argon cryostats and their cryogenic systems at CERN / Bremer, J (CERN) ; Chalifour, M (CERN) ; Creus-Prats, J (Fermilab) ; Fabre, C (CERN) ; Montanari, D (Fermilab) ; Pezzetti, M (CERN) ; Resnati, F (CERN) ; Nessi, M (CERN)
The far Detector of the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) will be housed in several large volume (about 12.500 m$^{3}$) liquid argon cryostats. The design principle of these large cryostats, and of the cryogenic system belonging to them, are investigated through the design, construction and operation of a series of prototype installations. The Neutrino Platform 02 (NP02) and 04 (NP04) cryostats, placed at CERN, contain DUNE proto-type detectors, each of them housed in an about 600 m$^{3}$ liquid argon bath. First results on ProtoDUNE-SP liquid argon time projection chamber performance from a beam test at the CERN Neutrino Platform / DUNE Collaboration
The ProtoDUNE-SP detector is a single-phase liquid argon time projection chamber with an active volume of $7.2\times 6.0\times 6.9$ m$^3$. It is installed at the CERN Neutrino Platform in a specially-constructed beam that delivers charged pions, kaons, protons, muons and electrons with momenta in the range 0.3 GeV$/c$ to 7 GeV/$c$.
