Measurement of the fractional radiation length of a pixel module for the CMS Phase-2 upgrade via the multiple scattering of positrons / Tracker Group of the CMS Collaboration
High-luminosity particle collider experiments such as the ones planned at the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider require ever-greater vertexing precision of the tracking detectors, necessitating also reductions in the material budget of the detectors. Traditionally, the fractional radiation length ($x/X_0$) of detectors is either estimated using known properties of the constituent materials, or measured in dedicated runs of the final detector. Potential pre-industrial–like new particle formation induced by pure biogenic organic vapors in Finnish peatland / Huang, Wei (Helsinki U.) ; Junninen, Heikki (Tartu, Inst. Phys.) ; Garmash, Olga (Tampere U. of Tech. ; Washington U., Seattle) ; Lehtipalo, Katrianne (Helsinki U.) ; Stolzenburg, Dominik (TU Vienna) ; Lampilahti, Janne L P (Helsinki U.) ; Ezhova, Ekaterina (Helsinki U.) ; Schallhart, Simon (STUK, Helsinki) ; Rantala, Pekka (Helsinki U.) ; Aliaga, Diego (Helsinki U.) et al.
Pure biogenic new particle formation (NPF) induced by highly oxygenated organic molecules (HOMs) could be an important mechanism for pre-industrial aerosol formation. However, it has not been unambiguously confirmed in the ambient due to the scarcity of truly pristine continental locations in the present-day atmosphere or the lack of chemical characterization of NPF precursors. CEPC Technical Design Report: Accelerator / CEPC Study Group Collaboration
The Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC) is a large scientific project initiated and hosted by China, fostered through extensive collaboration with international partners. The complex comprises four accelerators: a 30 GeV Linac, a 1.1 GeV Damping Ring, a Booster capable of achieving energies up to 180 GeV, and a Collider operating at varying energy modes (Z, W, H, and ttbar). [...]

Development of the CMS detector for the CERN LHC Run 3 / CMS Collaboration
Since the initial data taking of the CERN LHC, the CMS experiment has undergone substantial upgrades and improvements. This paper discusses the CMS detector as it is configured for the third data-taking period of the CERN LHC, Run 3, which started in 2022. [...]

We report a measurement of the branching fraction of inclusive semileptonic $B$ meson decays $B\to X_c\ell\nu\ell$ in $\Upsilon(4S)\to B\bar B$~data recorded by the Belle II experiment at the SuperKEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider and corresponding to 62.8 fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity. Evaluation of planar silicon pixel sensors with the RD53A readout chip for the Phase-2 Upgrade of the CMS Inner Tracker / CMS Collaboration
The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN will undergo an upgrade in order to increase its luminosity to $7.5 \times 10^{34}$ cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$. The increased luminosity during this High-Luminosity running phase\\ (HL-LHC), starting around 2029, means a higher rate of proton-proton interactions, hence a larger ionizing dose and particle fluence for the detectors. The current tracking system of the CMS experiment will be fully replaced in order to cope with the new operating conditions. [...]

The interaction between nitrogen monoxide (NO) and organic peroxy radicals (RO$_{2}$) greatly impacts the formation of highly oxygenated organic molecules (HOM), the key precursors of secondary organic aerosols. It has been thought that HOM production can be significantly suppressed by NO even at low concentrations. [...]

Evaluation of HPK $n^+$-$p$ planar pixel sensors for the CMS Phase-2 upgrade / Tracker Group of the CMS Collaboration
To cope with the challenging environment of the planned high luminosity upgrade of the Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC), scheduled to start operation in 2029, CMS will replace its entire tracking system. The requirements for the tracker are largely determined by the long operation time of 10~years with an instantaneous peak luminosity of up to $7.5\times 10^{34}$~cm$^{-2}$s$^{-1}$ in the ultimate performance scenario. Depending on the radial distance from the interaction point, the silicon sensors will receive a particle fluence corresponding to a non-ionizing energy loss of up to $\Phi_{\text{eq}} = 3.5\times 10^{16}$~cm$^{-2}$.
