Abstract | We describe an experiment aiming at determining the stability threshold in terms of octupole current for bunch trains at flat top in the LHC. The measured instability threshold is compatible with the one of single bunches thus showing that the electron cloud does not impact significantly the octupole requirement in this configuration. |
