Abstract In the Professional Precision Laser Inclinometer the noise origins were analyzed. The new efficient methodic of these noises taking into account was proposed and realized. The own (instrumental) noise 6 × 10$^{–12}$ rad/Hz$^{1/2}$ of the PPLI has been measured in the frequency range of [0.1 Hz, 1 Hz]. The minimal PPLI registered spectral density when analyzing of a daylong data was 2.4 × 10$^{–11}$ rad/Hz$^{1/2}$.
