Dan Baer
Dan Baer (Democratic Party) ran for election to the U.S. Senate to represent Colorado. He did not appear on the ballot for the Democratic primary on June 30, 2020.
Baer was a 2018 Democratic candidate who sought election to the same seat.[2] Baer dropped out of the race in October 2017.[3]
Biography
Dan Baer earned a bachelor's degree in social studies and African American studies and graduated summa cum laude from Harvard University in 2000, and earned a doctorate of philosophy in international relations from Oxford University in 2005.[4]
Baer's career experience includes working as the diplomat in residence with the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver, and as executive director with the Colorado Department of Higher Education. He was a deputy assistant secretary and ambassador with the United States Department of State, an assistant professor at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, and a project leader with The Boston Consulting Group.[4]
