Middleware Conference

Challenges in Middleware for Search

Following the success of the past conferences in this series in the Lake District, UK (1998), in Palisades, NY (2000), in Heidelberg, Germany (2001), in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2003), in Toronto, Canada (2004), in Grenoble, France (2005) , in Melbourne, Australia (2006), the 8th International Middleware Conference in Newport Beach, California aims at being the premier conference on middleware research and technology in 2007. The broad scope of the conference is the design, implementation, deployment, and evaluation of distributed systems platforms and architectures for future computing environments.

Important Announcements

(November 30) Keynote slides are uploaded!

(November 21) Plenary panel page is updated!

(November 21) Wireless High Speed Internet will be available inside the meeting rooms, foyer area & registration desk.

(November 17) Mark Hapner, Distinguished Engineer and Chief Web Services Strategist from Sun Microsystems will be the keynote speaker on November 27.

(November 12) Summaries of WIP papers are now available at DSonline.

(November 5) Industry Panel page is uploaded.

(November 1) Dr. Douglas C. Schmidt from Vanderbilt University will be the keynote speaker on November 29.

(October 31) More information about requesting visa support letter is available.

(October 29) Hotel room reservation with conference special rate must be done by  Monday, November 5th. After this date, the rooms will be offered on the best available rate.

(October 28) There will be a tutorial on "The design of a reliable message distribution service for Google".

(October 25) Early registration deadline has been extended till November 1st, 2007.

(October 20) Some details about the conference hotel are uploaded.

(October 18) Conference banquet schedule is uploaded!

(October 15) Demo and poster program is uploaded.

(October 11) There has been an update in conference program. Please plan accordingly!

(October 2) The main conference will be held from November 27 to November 29. The workshops will be held on November 26 and November 30.
